He is a French-American self-driving car engineer and was born on March 15, 1980. Levandowski served as the technical lead for Google’s self-driving car project, Waymo, from 2009 until 2016.

Lewandowski was born on March 15, 1980, In Brussels, Belgium, to a French diplomat mother and an American businesswoman. He moved to California in the mid-1990s. During his teens, he developed websites for local businesses.

Lewandowski enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1998, where he studied industrial engineering and operations research and graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He started La Raison, an intranet and IT services business, as a freshman, and it made $50,000 in its first year of operation.
