Venturing out for a pampering session, Drew Barrymore was spotted visiting the Byron salon in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon (February 8).

The “ET” actress was a bit shy as she exited the beauty parlor after getting her golden locks touched up, as she covered her face before hopping in her ride.

From there, things took a turn for the worse, as Miss Barrymore was on Beverly Blvd. and Doheny Dr. when she was rear-ended by a paparazzo at a stop light.

Quite upset over the situation, Drew proceeded to lay into the shutterbug upon exiting her car – with the two quickly exchanging information before Miss Barrymore proceeded to head back home.

The Heidi monster has managed to convince her mom to be Momma Monster. It looks like Heidi Montag’s mom is following in her daughter’s footsteps (oh yeah, this seems like a wise decision already) and get a bunch of crazy plastic surgery herself. Maybe, now that her daughter Heidi looks so odd, she wants to look just as odd as her so that they can still look like a mother and daughter team?

At first Frankenheidi lied to the media by saying she was scared to face her mom after all that silicone was added to her body without her mom knowing. There were even reports that Darlene Egelhoff (Heidi’s mom and genius at large) was having a nervous breakdown as a result. So how did the story turn around? Frankenheidi now claims that her mom is excited for her. “Actually, she was excited for me and she’s asking me … for her surgery next. So for Mother’s Day, I have to ask [surgeon] Dr. Frank Ryan if he’ll do the mommy makeover” says Frankenheidi through silicone lips.

We suggest mom and daughter brain surgeries as well. Maybe they can turn on the common sense part of the brain that seems to be lacking in this family.

Steven Soderbergh is currently gathering a group of acting “super friends” to star in his next feature film. No, we’re not talking about Knockout, or even the big screen bio-pic Liberace, we’re referring to Contagion. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s because Soderbergh’s known for quietly putting together amazing films that no one ever hears about until he’s ready for them to.

According to The Playlist, Contagion will feature four noted Oscar nominees and winners with Kate Winslet, Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, and Jude Law rounding out the bunch. All the actors mentioned have deals being negotiated to star in the film that’s described as an action thriller. The story will center on the “outbreak of a deadly virus,” and will have a multi-strand storyline similar to Traffic.

The script for Contagion has been written by Scott Z. Burns, who previously penned The Informant! and The Bourne Ultimatum. Obviously, whatever he wrote in the film’s screenplay delivers, because it has a respectable group of actors on board ready to bring it to life. As for the much talked about Liberace, it will go into production in 2011 after filming on Contagion has wrapped.

Soderbergh is such a low key director but he always manages to attract top notch talent when it comes to his films. We’ll let you know more about the cast and story of Contagion as soon as the info becomes available.

Wow, I just can’t believe how different Creed frontman Scott Stapp looks with his hair short. I totally didn’t recognize him. I had to google him to find a before picture to make sure I was thinking of the right guy.

Anyhoo, Scott Stapp and his wife, Jaclyn, found out the sex of their unborn child and boy, are they excited.

The couple is expecting their third child to be a . . . boy.  See what I did there? I gave you a hint.

They’ve also picked out a name. He will be named Daniel after Jaclyn’s brother.

Congrats to the family.

Rapper Drake was spotted hanging out in the Axe Lounge at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Friday (Feb 5) in Miami.

Singer/songwriter Justin Timberlake was awarded the “Hasty Pudding Pot Man of the Year” award at Hard University Friday (Feb 5) in Cambridge, Ma**achusetts. Timberlake was roasted during a performance from the Hasty Pudding Club theatricals, the oldest college theatrical group in the country.
